How fees work
What you pay depends on how you pay. Each answer is here in plain words, and the front desk goes through yours before your first visit.
Insurance we work with
We bill many kinds of plans and tell you whether we are in network with yours before you book. The list is by type of plan, not by company, and the front desk checks your plan card. A work injury goes through workers' compensation, and a crash through auto injury coverage.

If you pay yourself
If you do not use insurance, you pay on the day of each visit. We tell you what to expect before you book, and we do not bill your plan.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written estimate before your first visit: what we expect each visit to cost and what it includes. If a final bill is $400 or more above your estimate, you can dispute it. This is your right under federal law, and you can ask for it any time.
Checking your benefits
Our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what they find, before your first visit. For a work injury, we ask for your adjuster's name and your claim details. Your plan, or your state's workers' compensation system, has the final say on what it pays.
What the first visit includes
Your first visit is about an hour with a physical therapist. They listen, examine you, explain what they find and agree on a plan with you. They also explain the risks and the choices.
Paying, answered plainly
Does my plan cover this, and do you take Medicare?
We bill many kinds of plans, including most PPO plans, Medicare, Medicaid, workers' compensation and auto injury coverage. Your plan decides what it pays. We check your benefits and call you before your first visit.
What if I pay myself?
We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and you pay on the day of each visit. If your plan may reimburse you, ask for a detailed receipt to send in. Your plan decides whether it pays.
I was hurt at work. How does that work?
Get emergency care first if you need it. Tell us who your adjuster is. Your state decides who may direct your care. We explain how your bills are handled before you start.
What if I was hurt in a crash?
Tell us which auto coverage applies when you call. We check what it requires and explain how your bills are handled before your first visit.
